More of a hiker? 12 state parks can be found within an hour’s drive from the city, and if you like a good view, Greenville is home to over 300 waterfalls within 2 hours drive. Coupled with the wonderfully mild weather, the city’s picturesque trails and parks are sure to keep even the most seasoned outdoors fan busy!

Downtown Greenville

If shopping is your cardio, downtown Greenville has everything you need to get your heart racing. Downtown Greenville is home to over 130 shops and 75 restaurants, all in a one square mile area. We’re also the only downtown in the United States with natural waterfalls that are flanked by a unique suspension bridge known as Liberty Bridge! It’s one of several extraordinary downtown landmarks. Our award winning main street is always bustling, full of great local and independent shopping options and boasts an annual calendar with over 200 events that includes music festivals, street art exhibitions and more.
